This will also make the floors go a little faster with less "dead space" in/on each floor.

This should reduce lag (the most common complaint) for most people and the game will be a little "smaller" overall. Original game had 12 (13 if you count the secret level) 125 x 125 dungeons. That being said here's the changes that will, might, or won't be implemented. This will not please everybody and not every change or feedback received will be implemented as I still want the game to be a certain way and will stubbornly persist in some aspects of the game that may not be wildly popular. The game has a lot of flaws and I hope to iron many of those out and make it a more enjoyable experience overall but without sacrificing my vision for the game.īased on community feedback I was going to make the sequel more in tune to community demands but instead I will do that with the remake of this, I do still intend for the game to be free.

I know I said I wouldn't do this but I've learned quite a bit more about JS, Eventing, and other RPG Maker tricks, and have more custom assets than I realized that I hope to utilize. I have decided to scrap the sequel I was deciding to do with this due to not wanting to dedicate 1000's of more hours and unsure where to go story wise after the beginning and have instead decided to remake this particular game (Maze of the Lost) from the ground up. I might make a short TRPG using Synrec's Plugin but that's probably it. I have found myself getting into other things in life that have given me more interest and eating more of my time than RPG Maker and as I get older (I'm about to turn 40) my interest for games and game making is decreasing over time and I don't see myself making any more games once I (hopefully) complete this.
